THE MAGIC ART LAB
Where art becomes the language children use to know and express themselves, regulate their emotions, build confidence, communicate and grow from the inside out.
A laboratory of growth, emotional education lived and learned through experience.
Experience-Based Learning
Emotional growth is practiced and lived in everyday spaces.
Children today are navigating big emotions in a fast, overstimulating world. They feel deeply, react strongly and often don’t yet have the language or tools to understand what’s happening inside them.
Where movement, play, music, breath and creativity open the door to emotional awareness. Here, children don’t memorize emotions they experience them safely, playfully and intentionally.
Every activity has an intention and every experience has a purpose.
At The Magic Art Lab, children:
Practice the art of emotional regulation
Discover the art of self-expression
Experience the art of connection and belonging
Develop the art of leadership
Build confidence and inner security
Strengthen the art of emotional resilience
Cultivate the art of gratitude and empathy
Learn the art of healthy boundaries
Practice the art of self-love and the art of letting go
All through movement, stories, music, play, imagination, breath, presence and creative expression.
The Results Children Experience
Results are cultivated through repeated experiences, guidance and conscious practice, children integrate what they feel, explore and express, what starts as a moment becomes a memory, what becomes a memory becomes a skill and over time, those skills stay with them for life with them.
The Magic Art Lab is not about instant outcomes, it’s about creating experiences that leave a lasting emotional imprint.

When children are supported emotionally from an early age, they grow into adults who feel connected, confident and secure within themselves. Not because life is always "easy", because they learned how to understand themselves, express what they feel, go through life challenges and move through emotions with awareness.
Many adults discover later in life that they were never taught these tools, not because something was wrong with them, because emotional education was never part of their early environment. Emotional education is not an extra subject, it’s the foundation that quietly supports confidence, resilience, and inner clarity for life.
Give your child emotional tools that last a lifetime.

Ana Cristina Gordillo
With over a decade of experience working with children and alongside families, Ana Cristina Gordillo has witnessed something simple and powerful:
"Children don’t need to be taught what to feel instead they need spaces where they are guided to understand themselves."
This understanding inspired the creation of The Magic Art Lab, a space where emotional education is lived through experience, where art becomes a language for self-awareness, expression and connection.
The Magic Art Lab was created from a clear intention:
to offer children the emotional tools they will carry for life, and to support the adults who walk beside them with presence and awareness.
The mission is simple: to nurture confident, emotionally grounded children by starting from the inside out.
FAQs
What ages is The Magic Art Lab designed for?
The Magic Art Lab is designed for children 3-7, activities are adapted to meet children where they are, honoring their developmental stage and emotional needs. The focus is not performance or results, it’s experience, exploration and growth.
Does my child need prior experience with art or emotional learning?
No prior experience is needed, The Magic Art Lab meets children exactly where they are, there are no expectations, no right or wrong ways to participate and no pressure to perform, each child engages at their own rhythm.
What should children bring?
Just themselves, everything else is provided.
How is this different from other enrichment programs?
Most enrichment programs focus on skills, performance, or outcomes. The Magic Art Lab focuses on inner development helping children feel safe, confident, connected and able to express themselves from the inside out.
Will my child see immediate changes after one session?
Emotional growth happens through repetition, practice and safe spaces where children can explore and return to these tools over time. What your child receives is a foundation, something they begin to recognize, practice, and carry with them gradually.
What is EDUCONSULTANT™?
Is guiding children understand what they feel, express it in healthy ways and learn how to respond to their inner world with awareness and confidence. It’s about giving children the tools to recognize themselves, communicate their needs and build inner security over time.
It gives them the tools to build emotional regulation, confidence, resilience, strong communication, leadership, self-worth, empathy, gratitude, set healthy boundaries and a lifelong growth mindset.
Is this an art class or an emotional education program?
The Magic Art Lab is not a traditional art class and it’s not focused on creating “art projects.” Art is the language we use. Through movement, creativity, stories, play and presence, children explore emotional awareness, expression, connection and inner confidence in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.
Who facilitates The Magic Art Lab?
The Magic Art Lab is facilitated by Ana Cristina Gordillo, founder of The Magic Box for Children, an emotional education movement dedicated to supporting children, families and educators through conscious, experience-based learning. Her approach is intentional and deeply human, creating spaces where children feel seen, supported and empowered.
If you feel called to explore this experience, trust that curiosity, every meaningful journey begins with a small, intentional step.
